This was taken August 22, 1940. and sent from Peter Tyrrell. They had 300 lb blocks of Ice set in the sand, on the beach in front of Convention Hall. The line girls, then skated in bathing suits for publicity shots. Ice Capades of 1940, which premiered in New Orleans, LA in June,
was playing at Convention Hall, while Capades of 1941 was in rehearsal.
